Hello, I've recently started to think about replacing my old monitor that I've had since 2011-06-18 that only has VGA entry or w/e u call it.

Not to mention that because of VGA cable, the coil whine from my GPU, gives me lines on my monitors, like its shacking, tho only in games, they're not super noticeable but it gets on my nevers when I concentrate on the screen, and I see those lines.I manage to kinda fix this by getting one of those more thick VGA cables and that seems to do the trick but that is broken a bit and I have to put in in good position cause if the cable moves my monitor's color goes all over the place.

I have to mention that, im not longer a competitive gamer so I dont need TN panels to maximize FPS experience.I play on a decent level casually and I like to watch many many TV shows and movies so that's why I going with IPS :p.
With that said, is it worth to replace :

LCD Samsung B2230N 21.5 inch 5 ms wide black with a LED IPS LG 24EA53VQ-P 24 inch 5ms black that has DVI entry ?

well the only upgrade would be the screen size and viewing angles. if you want to watch while on bed go upgrade because viewing angles are great on ips screens. but if you watch in front of your monitor always then dont.

if it is both 1920x1080 then dont. if your current monitor is not then the latter is. go upgrade. would be heavenly to play games ay 1920x1080. regarding led vs ips, some like led's oversaturated colors than ips true to life colors. for some ips has cold colors. but the most important part is the 1920x1080 resolution. dont forget to close the thread
