INTEL hd 3000 graphics card-782 MB
i guess thats all u need...the current graphics card is so shitty that even gta 4 wont work..please help me to buy a card keepin in mind the price range and specs.. :??:

Mentioning your local currency is of prime importance.
Even the world's fastest graphics card is $700.
You could get four of those in 3 grand, or $ 3000.
If you're from India, as I'm guessing you are, then 4 grand is very less. I'd say go up to 6 atleast.
For 5 grand you could scrape in a gt630.
You could buy a 620 for 3900, but that card is not meant for gaming.

Do the math. 700 * 62.68 = INR 43876.
However, in Indian markets the price is around 60k.

An AMD Radeon HD 6670 would play Fifa 2014 with 0x AA and 8x AF just fine. Specs here: http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=6222&game=Fifa%2014

I don't know the prices in India; I'd suggest getting as powerful a GPU as you can, preferably an HD 7000 series card or newer. GCN architecture and whatnot.

Just checked Flipkart. I'd suggest upping your budget to 5.5K to get a 6670 GDDR5; the 6670 is the de-facto budget GPU. Good enough to play games, cheap enough for a budget build.

Graphics Processing Unit. It's the "science" term for graphics card. GPU is used as an abbreviation.

FYI, it's the same for "CPU". Central Processing Unit. I.E, a processor.

A graphics card is the rectangular thing that goes inside your pc cabinet and lets you play games and get a display on your monitor.
A GPU is a graphics processing unit, it's similar to your CPU but just that it's meant to process display frames.
The GPU has got billions of transistors(if yours got millions, it's not worth getting for today's games), runs very hot and needs to be cooled; that's why the card looks so fat. The fatter the card, the cooler it runs. Also, a card with a fan cools better than one that doesn't have one; however the fanless ones make sense for dead silent PC's that are not meant to play games.
