Why don't I see Intel HD Graphics 4000 under display adapters in the device manager?

I'm not able to see that and neither am i able to install it's drivers. When I try to install drivers it says:

"This Computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing this software".

My laptop is Toshiba L850-i2011.
Core i3-3110M
4GB DDR3
750GB HDD
1GB AMD Radeon HD 7670M
Windows 8.1 x64

Also under the display adapters and in dxdiag it reads: AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series.

Why doesn't it specify 7670M?

And under 'dxdiag' it shows Approx. Total Memory of 2803MB.

I believe the remaining 1779MB memory is being used by either Intel HD Graphics 4000 Mobile or the AMD 7670M. But if it's not the latter case then it must show the Intel card.

I tried installing drivers from Intel and Toshiba websites, both display the same message.

I want the Intel card to work as it'll be more efficient when not performing intensive graphical activity.

FYI: It's a new PC and I've installed most drivers myself. I don't think I missed any. The DriverNavigator says all the drivers are up to date.

Please help with this.

I'm not too familiar with your specific laptop, but are you certain it supports Dual Graphics?

As for why the Radeon 7670M shows up as a 7600M series, that's no big deal. AMD drivers tend not to be specific as to which card you actually have. The 2 Radeon 7770s in my desktop show up as "Radeon HD 7700 Series".

In your laptop's BIOS settings, do you have an option to adjust RAM used by the graphics card? There also may be an option to activate or deactivate the Intel graphics.

I'm unaware of the motherboard model. CPU-Z and system info don't specify it but the manufacturer is Toshiba. The motherboard name comes up as TOSHIBA Portable PC MP. BIOS is Insyde Corp v6.70 04/22/2013 and the graphics tab shows only the AMD 7600M series.

And I don't have these options in BIOS as well.

Do you support the following statement? I read it on a different forum regarding the same but this concerns NVIDIA.

"Well if it isn't showing in the NVidia control panel as an option, you forgot to install the Intel HD graphics driver. And ideally it ought to be installed BEFORE the NVidia, that could also be the issue. I'd say uninstall the NVidia driver, run driver sweeper in safe mode to kill it, same for Intel graphics if they are indeed installed, then install Intel THEN NVidia graphics drivers."

And I'm quite sure that I installed the AMD drivers first. I think before that it was working on some Microsoft display drivers.
