Hi there ,

straight to the question.

FX 8320 Vishera goes only up to 4GHz

When I push 4,1 or 4,2 , start Prime 95, temperature goes up to 43 C* then froze crash.. (Need to manualy restart)

1.465V (I tried pushing even up to 1.5V or 1.55V) nothing

I am only playing with the Multiplier and CPU voltage, Nothing else. I'Ve read somewhere that when it goes over 65C its a problem... But I never even get close to such high temperatures.

Please any advise thank you.

OK, couple things I noticed, I have made a terrible mistake with thermal compound, at 3,7 GHz stressing about 10 mins Temperature was 62-65 C (I've putted too much). I have scraped the Thermal Compound applied it as it says on the video now I am getting after 2 minutes run 54-55 C* Temperatures at 3,7 GHz stock clock. I will bee now pushing forward so stay tuned.

I'm getting stable 4,3 GHz at 75 Celsius , 1.5 Volts. If I push for 4,4 I have to raise up to 1,55 so it would stop crashing the 6th core. And the Temps goes up to 80 Celsius.

I will be buying about 2-3 120mm 2400 RPM fans I will be getting the to work together to blow more air through the radiator then I will post some info. Anyway I noticed when I start the prime95 it will start to make a little buzzing sound. And when I stop stress, the buzzing sound also stops. o_O, Anybody knows what that is ? :D

PSU that can easily handle 3 GTX 470 plus overclocked FX. Budget doesnt really matter, but it is about 200$ or more (add 30% to U.S price of electronics to get europe prices.)

Another Question, If I buy stock coolers for my GTX 470s will it fit the GIGabyte GTX 470 and MSI ? Because, I noticed the cards that are having the original stock cooling and not the tri-fan cooler have a hole in it and maybe a different layout. Because TRi-fan cooling is great if you have only 1 card not 3 of those. Thanks.
