Hello everyone,

I use a Netgear wgr614v9 at school which we are allowed to use routers. Anyways a few days ago it just stopped working saying compete the logon process; "Start your web browser to view the sign up pafe and then follow the instruction to connect to the Internet"

Now I thought that was just the normal "Oh I have to login my user and password to used the internet like always." But when doing it nothing happens. I try restoring it but it was only a few days later which nothing happen. I tried looking online as well and I'm not sure why it isn't working. Please help and thank you.

This sounds like it might not be an issue with the router, so I'm going to ask.. have you tried doing this log-on process on the web with multiple different browsers?

I know I have issues at my college where I cannot complete the log-on process on the web while using Chrome because forms and data don't send back and forth correctly. IE and FireFox work fine for this process though (in my scenario).

Another likely situation is someone just phished your log-in information for the school.

You should check up on your account and change your password. first.

From there, factory reset your router and reconfigure it. If you have wireless enabled, then make the password for it the most complex thing you can think of. And obviously make the router login very complex.

Thousands of people around, you can bet you balls there is at least 1 person who can and will hack into every router he/she can find.

Well like the first semester and until a couple of days I been using Google chrome and never had a problem with it. I did download firefox and tried Internet Explorer which both let me login (Just like google chrome) but didn't let me have access to the internet.
