I'm currently using Windows 7 Ultimate on my System but I think I want to try Windows 8 on it , so I don't know if my MOBO GPU CPU RAM are compatible with Windows 8 or 8.1. Isn't all PC components, no matter new or old, must be compatible with every Windows OS ?
Specs
GA-990FXA-UD3
AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core
Corsair Vengance 16GB (8GB-8GB)
EVGA GeForce 660Ti 2GB Factory Overclocked
Thank you!

Yes, finding the drivers can be quite tricky on a clean install.

Go to the motherboard manufacturer website (in this case Gigabyte) and go to the support page for your board. From there you can download all available drivers put out for the OS. The gpu driver you will need to download from nvidia. It is a good idea to predownload them to some form of removable storage ahead of time because chances are your board will not come with the internet driver. Just plug in the USB and install all the drivers you downloaded from there. At this point Gigabyte should have all the drivers you need for your board

As for parts, usually if it works on 7 it should work on 8..if it doesnt then that is often a lack of updated driver issue rather than OS issue
