i have 90 mbps but i got lag spikes

hey,

i got 90 mbps but i got lag spikes ( heavy lag spikes )
i play league of legends and my ping is usually around 25.
but twice a minute i raises to like 999+ wich causes my screen to freeze.
i do have wireless, but i have WLAN repeater wich has a ethernet input so i have cable.
i dont know iff this is better but im tired of this lag. so i bought it.

i try to turn off as much devices off as possible.
but my parents and my sister wont.
these devices are almost allways on or on standby.
2 ipads
4 iphones
1 laptop
and my computer, thats the only thing from me. -.-

so can u please help me....

With 90mbit down i doubt the other devices will casue trouble. 5mbit is enough for 1 person when gaming. As for the lag i suppose that something is wrong, no idea what.

If your machine could get wireless already and you bought a wireless repeater it will not run any better in most cases and if you actually left the repeater function active you are going to make your wireless much WORSE even if you cabled to the device.

As usafret recommends the only true solution to this is to not use wireless. You can't stop your neighbors from using their wireless and interfering with you at random times no matter how hard you try.
