Will a lenovo ideapad y510p (no sli) be good enough to play Skyrim?

I'm in the market for a gaming laptop, but the only games I really play are Skyrim (and Minecraft, but I don't think that's intensive in comparison).

These are the system specs

Lenovo y510p laptop

4th Generation Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB)

Operating System
Windows 8.1 64

Display
15.6" FHD LED AntiGlare Wedge 1920x1080

Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GT750M GDDR5 2GB (no sli)

Memory
8.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz

Also, I plan to connect it to an external monitor through a Plugable UD-3000 USB 3.0 Universal Docking Station.

I've heard that there can be some issues with the sli--and I don't have the extra money to shell out anyway.

So will this be powerful enough to play Skyrim on moderate to high settings at a comfortable framerate?

sure, but you could do so much better if you DIY.

After overclocking with MSI afterburner, I'm cruising along at a decent 58FPS on Skyrim as we speak. A lot of the people online who think this isn't a "real" gaming laptop are being unreasonable. Is BF4 going to play at 60 FPS, no way , but most titles from the last 2 years play incredibly well. That being said, the touch pad is a goddamn nightmare. invest in a good mouse.
