while playing games i get msg after 30 min ur game has stopped working

i brought a new gfx ati 6670hd 2gb ddr3 nd now
I'm able to play games at ultra settings with
20-30 fps.but after 30 mins my windows shows
that has stopped working any game.is dis my gfx
problem or some other plz help me I'm confused
that my gfx has issue.or itz some other issue.
specs
i3 540 3.06ghz 2 cores
ati6670hd ddr3 2gb
4gb ram 3.24usable
psu 450w

Did you completely remove the old drivers and installed the new ones?

yeah i ws using nvidia 8400gs 1gb. i removed all the drivers.

Well I doubt that this is a hardware problem. There must be some kind of a software clash. Follow the link below and check the steps.

is something wrong with my gfx.if so plz tell me.or my monitor is an lg 500e crt which is old
my screen also blacked out after 1 hour 30 min

Well obviously I don't know what the problem is.. All I can do is help you find out the problem. Oh I thought no one uses these monitors anymore ;/ Well you should definitely get a new monitor asap. You can't do much with that especially if you want to game!

so can dis be a monitor problem.or my cpu gets overload or gpu.but i ws able 2 play games like fc3 nd bf3 on ultra with 23-30 fps

Well the best thing to do is install win 8.1 - 64bit, and buy a new monitor. This will indefinitely increase your fps.

Well 32bit OS will allow you to install up to 4GB of RAM only, where the 64bit version allows you to have more than 4GB. Going from 32 to 64 won't make any difference in gaming but you will certainly be more future proof. Also with windows 8.1 you will be able to play games with higher fps, compared with XP. Nevetheless, the i3 cpu will hold you back since it is not meant for gaming purposes.

i just lowered my settings to high in game nd nw itz working fine.bt i still don't get it y dat happened. is my gpu not good enough or cpu or ram.cuz on ultra it runs smoothly.
