Hello!

I am just wondering if a corsair CS650 can handle 2x R9 270 and 4670k oced at 4.4 ghz.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
For a system using two Radeon R9 270 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode AMD specifies a minimum of an 600 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 39 Amps or greater and have at least two 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Sufficient Total Combined Continuous Power/Current Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most critical factor.

Overclocking of the CPU and/or GPU(s) may require an additional increase to the maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current ratings, recommended above, to meet the increase in power required for the overclock. The additional amount required will depend on the magnitude of the overclock being attempted.

The Corsair CS650M (SKU# 75-010708 / CP9020077) power supply unit, with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 51 Amps and with four (6+2)-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors, is more than sufficient to power your system configuration with two Radeon R9 270 graphics cards in 2-way CrossFireX mode.

Thanks a lot ko888!
Just one thing i forgot to say was that in fact they are R9 270X. Sorry for my mistake.
Either way, I checked on Game Debate and they say that max TDP of R9 270x is 180W, while the 270 is 175W. So it seems that it can be applied to both, as their max TPD is so close.

For a system using two AMD Reference Design Radeon R9 270X graphics cards in 2-way CrossFire mode AMD specifies a minimum of an 600 Watt or greater system power supply. The power supply should also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 43 Amps or greater and have at least four 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

The Corsair CS650M (SKU# 75-010708 / CP9020077) is still sufficient to do the job.
