Which is more reliable and better
G.skill RipjawsX 8GB (4GB x 2) DDR3-1866 RAM Memory Module (F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL
Or Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 240-Pin SDRAM Dual Channel Memory Kit CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B?

Solution

Yeap 1866 is the way :D

Goodluck with your memory :)

Depends if your CPU and motherboard can support it. If it can, then run it at DDR3-1866. If it can not, then you can down clock it to DDR3-1600 with lower timings. Either way the G.Skill RAM is the better of the two mentioned.

Thank you

If you are comparing a 1600 CL9 to a 1600 CL 7 or 8 ofcourse the lower timing will be better. But like what the gskill representative says, if your cpus IMC (internal memory controller) handles 1866 fine then your fine with 1866 CL9. My IMC is limiting me at 1333 and i have a 1866, downclocked it to 1333 CL 6 because of that. :D
