  1. http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1308-page4.html some benchmarks on the kingston drive. Looks like its an older drive compared to the EVO. I'm going to go ahead and assume that the newer Samsung drive is the better choice.

What's better, sequential or random read/write speeds? Cause it looks like the Kingston has better sequential but the Samsung has better random?? I'm confused :S
  3. The Crucial M500 is also a very good SSD for the price, i own one myself. Choose whats suits your budget best but if the samsung fits your budget i would go with that.
  4. That is the Samsung 830, the Kingston drive is almost two years old now. The EVO is from last year.
  5. There are many SSDs which are "good", but personally I would go with the Samsung 850 EVO series because they have high read write speeds, and they back their drives up with a 5 year warranty. You will pay a bit more though. Also, what will you be using this for? If you're not doing something that requires high performance from your SSD then go for a cheaper one, or wait for Black Friday (or a likewise day, boxing day, etc). Use the extra bucks to upgrade your GPU, or to get a 1tb SSHD for storage if you haven't already.
