Computer won't boot with four 4gb ram sticks installed. All sticks work perfectly. My motherboard is a p8z77-v lk, I have a corsair 600w psu, my gpu is a geforce gtx 760. The ram sticks are corsair vengeance. It works fine with just 2 of them, but any more and it won't boot. Help?

The secondary (black ports) arent working. I ran memok! and it booted up, but failed when I tried all four ports. Memok! did not work again on secondary ports.

It's not a 1 set of four, it's 2 2x4gb corsair vengeance sets. Same make and model.

Have you made any changes in the BIOS? If so, try returning it back to default. If not, try enabling XMP settings and see it that helps.

Sounds to me that port 4 is bad. If the board is still under warranty, call ASUS. I'd only run with ports 1 and 3, having odd numbers of modules would slow you down a bit, since you'd lose the benefit of dual channel.

Ok, thought you were pointing out which worked, lol.

Take out the module from port 4, just run ports 1 and 3. Same issue?
