I have re-installed dual boots more than once and otherwise "fooled around" with the bios a bit.
Now when the bios is set with the cd drive as first boot, the machine will not seek the drive on restart. Have I possibly damaged something...how can i remedy this?

but you said after you set the CDROM as first boot that it starts from the HDD first. Maybe it is a bug or it is not responding well. Please, try my method and see if it will boot from the CD first. Thats the only option I have for you.
