Hi!
So, I have a pretty simple question:

In gaming, how much lower would your framerate be with 2 monitors compared to 1?

Thanks for any help :D

Solution
If you are only gaming on one screen you will see a negligible drop in FPS, the difference between the results with 1 and 2 screens for me are within the randomness of the measurement with 1 screen alone. You might lose 5 FPS tops.

If you're gaming at 60fps, you'll probably drop to 40/45FPS. It won't half the FPS, but it does depend on the game. Remember that the GPU isn't ONLY pushing pixels to the screen. There's loads of stuff it does that it doesn't do twice when you have two screens.

That said, two screen gaming is a pain because the center of your FOV is in the besel. For me, it's either a 3 screen setup or use just one of your two screen setup for gaming (which is what I do).

Then yes, of course, second monitor won't add much work to the GPU. Your fps will be almost the same as if the other monitor wasn't used at all.
