Hello. To start, I'm not American nor British. I come from a country where it's MUCH cheaper to buy a pre-built desktop than to build one yourself from parts (the parts are prohibitively expensive). Plus I don't know that much about computers.

I an looking for a future-proof desktop, life span 7 years or so, that is capable of editing primarily, but can hold it's own in gaming too.

But most importantly, BEST BANG FOR BUCK!

So I need your help. I will post links to the sites describing each desktop, and beneath each link will be an approx. price in $ US. You should ignore the language of the sites, and just concentrate on the component's title, those should be universal.

Here are the links:

I decided to follow your suggestion and build a custom rig, and since I'm a uber-noob at building pc's, I need your help again. I need my pc to be future-proof for about 7 years, not a gaming machine (but can hold it's own), light video editing (virtual dub codec and resolution changes), but primarily AutoCAD & ePlan Electric. It also has to be durable ie. unstable and poor power, bad ventilation (build quality important). OC down the line, but nothing too extreme. Budget $900-950, no OS.

First dilemma: Intel (i5-4670k) or AMD (FX-8350). Do I need an after-market CPU cooler and/or water cooling if I don't OC? - Budget around $285 + $50 for CPU cooler if needed

Second dilemma: MOBO:
Intel version: Asus Z87 Pro (V Edition) or Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H

AMD version: Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 or Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (not very informed, feel free to suggest better) - Budget around $260

Third dilemma: GPU:

R9 270X or AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition or Nvidia GeForce GTX 760

What manufacturer and what added features? Keeping stock cooler, OC and SLI down the line. - Budget around $260

RAM Memory: Firm decision 8GB single stick, dilemma: what manufacturer, frequency, latency? - Budget around $80

Forth dilemma: PSU: How much wattage do I need if I want to OC CPU, RAM, GPU + SLI (please suggest something cheaper than Corsair or Seasonic)? - Budget around $50

When making your recommendation, keep in mind I don' have access to neweeg, eBay, Amazon and any of their benefits, retail prices only.
