I just upgraded my MB, RAM and Processor with new install win 7 pro 64 on new HDD. I am using my old video card until I can get the one I want. Whats happening is a lot of video issues. I crash trying to run benchmark with unigine less like 20 FPS which was not an issue before. I even tried to watch a video online and it crashed. Windows will tweak out where the color is all messed up on the toolbar and the top of the windows bar and the minimize max X buttons are all funky looking. Also tried to run witcher 2 comes up to start screen and stops working. I don’t get any errors or BSOD just app closes. I have checked drives and reinstalled old and new ones but no difference. I am hoping someone might have had a similar issue and that its not just my video card doesn’t play well with my MB/CPU.

Thanks for any help. Let me know if you need any more info.

So far looks like it's was a SW issue. Now using A Nvidia card and had similar issues. when I would try loading windows updates it would fail also. So I did 10 updates at a time and when I was finished the Nvidia card worked will ran benchmarks and everything. Will be testing amd card this weekend.

So managed to test my old video card today. I got the same issue again. then it created a whole list of issue when trying to use the Nvidia card again. so I had to clean install windows just to get the Nvidia card to work. So I am concluding that my system doesn't like my old card or its drivers.

Solution second stick of ram was bad. The reason it was so intermittent was it only got affected when it hit that stick. I put just the second stick in and at boot up it messed up. Put just first stick in and no issues. I have since RMA to Gskill. Just wanted to update in case someone has same kind of issue.
