Hello I just got this PC and wanted to upgrade the power supply and graphics card and was wondering if these two would do?

Power supply- CORSAIR CMPSU-500CXV2 Builder Series CX500 500W 80 PLUS Bronz?

Graphic Card- ATI Radeon HD6570 DDR3 2G

Thanks =)

Hi - yes and no. The PSU is fine for that GPU. However, if you are upgrading in order for gaming purposes, I
suggest you increase your budget (or save up) for a GPU. You'd want an hd7750 as a minimum, preferably
an hd7770, approx $100 - $120. 7705's are under $100.

Obviously, the more you can afford, the better GPU choices available become.

So i dont need to upgrade the PSU? because I've heard that i should also upgrade it if i want to support a more powerful GPU.. but i also heard doing so might fry the motherboard?

Hi, a more powerful PSU won't fry your mobo or anything else. PSU's only deliver the power the PC components
require at any point in time. Now, a poor quality PSU (regardless of wattage) can fry a mobo and have been known
to do so.

You can probably run the hd6570 with the current PSU. You can run an hd7750 with it. If you step up beyond the 7750, you'd want to upgrade the PSU.
