Hi,

I am looking for a low budget graphics card that could run games like TERA Online and FFXIV decently. I don't need it to be in maxed settings just good enough that it is playable while doing raids/dungeons.

Here is my specs:

Athlon AMD FX 4100 Quad-Core Processor
Nvidia GeForce GT 610 (My current graphics card)
8gb RAM

Thanks!

FFXIV looks to have higher requirements than TERA Online.
Game debate recommends a Nvidia GTX 650Ti or AMD Radeon HD 7970 for this game:

The HD 7970 is actually a much higher end card. I believe this is a typo and they actually mean the AMD Radeon HD 7790 which has similar performance to the GTX 650 Ti.
The HD 7790 has been recently replaced by the AMD Radeon R7 260X.

Any of these three cards should be suitable (GTX 650 Ti, HD 7790 or R7 260X).
Choose a 2GB model if buying these cards.
They will all work with fine with a 500W power supply that has a single PCI-E power connector.

The next level above these cards is the Nvidia GTX 650 Ti Boost or AMD HD 7850.
The Nvidia GTX 660 is better again than these two cards.
These cards give you a performance improvment of about 40% over the models previously mentioned, which is pretty substantial.
If choosing one of these cards, you will still be OK on a good quality 500W power supply.
It will need a +12V rating of at least 30A or 360W.
Most models of these cards require a single PCI-E power connector, but some over clocked models may require two.

I'm looking at the GTX 650 Ti since GTX 660 Ti is a little bit out of my budget.

I believe that it is compatible with my motherboard. I have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2.

By the way, thanks for the lightning fast response guys!

*P.S. they have a deal bundle with the 650 Ti that comes with FFXIV:AAR. Hopefully they still have it next week!

Asus card for sure. Clock rates are higher and it is cheaper. These Direct CU coolers are very quiet too.
