Need some sort of step by step diagram on how to install a CPU without bending pins

Well just found out i have been running my system for a year with bent pins, and perhaps could be messing with my performance. Now i have to buy a new mobo, and learn how to put my i5 3570k in correctly. Can someone with a source of a easy to understand and safe article regarding the issue i am facing.

It's literally just a matter of dropping the chip into the socket and closing the socket bracket/arm to keep it in place. On Intel boards the pins are on the motherboard, so it's hard to bend the pins unless you're using unneeded he-man like force to install the chip.
