i just order gigabyte hd 7970.. so my pc like this :

cpu : xeon 1270 v3 wt intel stock fan
ram : gskill 16gb
mobo : b85m itx
casing : cooler master elite 130
psu : 750watt

coz my casing is itx casing...do i need water cooler for this hd7970 because hd7970 use 250watt... too much power and of course produce too much heat..again do i need water cooler or stock fan just enough ??

Solution
Water cooling on GPUs is not needed unless you're running SLI setups and high OC. Stock coolers on video cards are much much better than stock cooling on CPU. The stock cooler will be fine, just ensure good airflow for the card.

Well you should go with a 760 over a 670 as they are the same card but the 760 is updated. It depends on what you're doing, if it is heavily openCL then amd should be better, but not by too much, if it is cuda enable then nvidia will be much faster.
