No HDMI on Mobo

I have recently installed a Gigabyte M5 1150 Mobo, neither of the Hdmi sockets work but the one on the GPU works fine is this a faulty Board or am I missing something?

If you have a discrete GPU it will default all display out trough it, you would need to remove the discrete GPU and enable onboard display THEN use the hdmi ports. You cannot utilize a display from your mobo as well as your discrete graphics card simultaneously.
