My friend is going to build a gaming rig(preferably AMD based) with a budget around 5,000 egyptian pounds, we were looking at the following:

Mobo:
CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz Eight Core 16MB Cache AM3+ Processor
GPU: SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC BATTLEFIELD 4 EDITION
Memory: 2x Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 1.65v
Storage: Western Digital (WD) Caviar BLUE WD10EZEX 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache HDD

These specs will cost around 4000 egp and will leave 1000 egp for the motherboard, any suggestions? preferably from this website http://www.egprices.com/category.php?cat=1.

If you think we could benefit from changing any of the above selected components feel free to suggest an alternative :).

EDIT: Forgot about the PSU please suggest 1 as well.

That is a terrible terrible website lol. Still, had a look.

I'd suggest if this is a solely gaming focused rig to cut the FX8350 to an FX8320, and push some more funds into graphics.

As for motherboards, it's a little unclear as to how much you have to spend (due to PSU cost).
Something like a MSI 970A-G46 (650) will suffice if you just need something basic, though I'd generally be more inclined towards say the ASUS M5A97 (750).

For PSUs, I spotted the XFX Core 550 (580) which would be a good pick for quality.

It's more of a general thought than a practical one. Games are predominantly GPU bound, so attempting to maximise your spend in this area, without totally gimping performance somewhere else, is usually the best solution.
The difference in price between a 270X and a GTX760 is around 350, the difference in price between a FX8320 and an FX8350 is 250, so it's not an entirely academic comparison, if you find you do have some funds to spare.

I also wasn't sure how much money you actually had, as you suggested you only had 1000 left for both the motherboard and PSU, so dropping to the FX8320 might have given you the extra cash you needed.

Well according to the benchmarks and the cpu performance hierarchy psoted here the difference between the 760 and the 270x ain't that great at all, putting into consideration that the 270x comes with bf4 and will enjoy the mantle boost.

If you are going for BF4, then yeah it's a better deal. Cheaper, comparable performance and you save on the game itself.
In general though, the GTX760 is a good chunk ahead of the 270X. I think the current GTX760 bundle contains Assassins Creed:Black Flag only.

Yea it will be mainly used for BF4 and other games like PES 2014 which will be maxed easily by both the 270x and the 760. I already run BF4 at 80+ fps most of the time with ultra and no aa on my old 7850 so i can see the 270x doing pretty well with it, i also lately bought the M5A97 R2.0 and it's doing great so far so i might tell him to go with it :).
