I am looking for a decent GPU, mostly, for work that will fit my ITX. This needs to be less then 19cm. Any suggestions?

I've been looking at evga 650ti 2gb, the only drawback i see is that it's 16ROPs, would that be much of a different compared to 24?

My mobo is ASUS z87i (PCI 3), CPU i5-4670k

It's not usually that big a price gap between the GTX650Ti and GTX660, but it does bounce around a bit. It kinda depends what you are trying to do with it.

As for the GTX560Ti, it's a 3year old card. They were incredibly popular so you can still find them here and there, but their prices aren't really reliable enough for a standard value-performance comparison. New they cost $250 which is roughly GTX760 territory these days. If you do see them for sale they tend to be priced nearer to GTX660 territory, which is a far better prospect.
I'm not sure what you mean by "efficient". The GTX560Ti uses more power than the GTX660/GTX650Ti and requires two PCIe power connectors when the they only need one.

If you want to stick with Nvidia and...

to be honest, I've been looking at mostly 560ti and 650ti as they are a tiny bit lower budget.

I have not checked the 660tis for lengths yet as I have not considered them, but the TIs look bigger then 20cm for 660s

Edit: Sorry! I should have mentioned that I would prefer the TI just because of core number... maybe im being silly?

Er, I don't really understand why you would want that.

The "Ti" moniker is an entirely irrelevant marketing term, and has no relation to where a product sits in peformance.

Nvidia effectively use it rather than a 5 or something. So a GTX650Ti could easily have been called a GTX655, as it sits between the GTX650 and GTX660.

Also, the "Ti" implies that it's a beefed up version of the card it follows, but this is often not the case.
The GTX650Ti and GTX660 are based on the same GPU, with the GTX650Ti being a cut-down version. The confusingly named GTX650Ti Boost sits between them.
The GTX660Ti is actually a cut down GTX670, which is in turn a cut down GTX680. Confused? You should be.

I'd reiterate my initial suggestions for cards. Assuming this is a gaming machine (it's a bit of an odd mix) then the GTX660 is likely to be affordable, and give you solid gaming performance.

not that much confused, I am just not sure if it is worth for me another $50-60 for 660, when you can get a "655" cheaper and it almost the exact same capabilities - almost!

that is why i was thinking to go for the 560ti as it seems to run much more efficient than a 650ti, but I am leaning towards the 650ti due to double the amount of ram and cores which seems! (again i may be silly...) to be a better option for work purposes

in a way you are just saying tho that I should get a 660 and forget about the ti which i can understand completely. But then, would you just recommend that I should get just a 650 or a 560 non-ti if my budget doesnt allow for 660?

If you want to stick with Nvidia and think a GTX660 is too expensive, then yeah a GTX650Ti Boost, GTX650Ti or even a basic GTX650 is a solid option (again, depending on what you are trying to do). The memory is also dependant on task. For modern games 2Gb isn't a bad idea, but for most other things 1Gb is loads.

thanks! ill try and sort out a 660, but if not ill go for the 650ti 2gb. I've been looking at some 2nd hand ones thats why I looked at 560ti, but it seems too big. Just need to find a card that fits my itx case as for example a 650ti boost is around 24cm... while an evga 650ti 2gb scc seems to be perfect.
