Hello!

I am having trouble deciding if I should call for return on my R9 270X, which costed me 200 eur, and get a GTX 770 for 310 eur.
Thing is, although the 270X can run great at this time, it would probably be outdated sooner and I would purchase a new one in a few years, for 200eur, that may be on pair with gtx 770, so I would loose 90 eur and have in the first years a worse gpu.
So, should I just buy the GTX770 now and upgrade later on, or keep the 270X?

Thanks in advance

My choice was the r9 270x toxic. I find this spot for around 200€ for GPUs and CPUs but its your choice.

I know this question cannot be totally answered, because it is dependent on the future. What i really wanted to know was your opinion if in 3/4 years gtx 770 would probably be arround 200eur, and even if I could sell the R9 270x for like 80 eur, I would still lose a few bucks and have a poorer performance before the update.

GTX 770 would be a better idea, the r9 270x is not a bad idea though.

personally if that is nice to you, then stick to it. when it will not have enough performance overclock it.
problem with the futureproofing is that it would be cheaper to stick with the current one, and get the R9 470 (or other generation when it wil not be sufficient for you), and probably hat will be more powerful than the GTX 770
