Yeah the first one will because it's fans will have less air to take in for the GPU and it will have higher temperatures than the lower one unless you liquid cool the graphics card. So yes the lifespan will be decreased

Well that is total nonsense! In all the SLi rigs I have had the only time a card died due to fan failure it was the bottom card that died. Such misinformation is almost sanction worthy so stop spewing it.

No no really. Temps are slightly higher on the top card, but it doesn't really matter much to reliability.

well, i'm prolly gonna be gaming at least 4-6 hours everyday..... and 1-2 hours for anime video and homework... so what is the major contributing factor for a long life gpu card? like 1-3yrs of survival rate... LOL.... would a big case that has decent air circulation help?

P.S
I'm buying 2 gtx 760 with acx cooler if i remember... and i'm going back to philippines to continue my studies this march... I'm kinda on the city where its far from the main civilization so finding a gpu card replacement is kinda like finding a treasure map. LOL.... plus i've asked my homies out there who live on the main city and they said that the 700 series is twice the price of its average price here in u.s and another thing is, weather temp out there is constant 95-104 degrees.....

As I said earlier, it won't make a difference. I fold 24/7 on my SLi rig so that's both cards at 99-100% constantly and the 660Ti's have survived for over a year now and the 560's managed over two years at the same loading.
