hello community!!
I own a 6800k apu and i am satisfied with its performance however looking at reviews of the apu the reviewers had overclocked the nb frequency to match the RAM frequency.
I was thinking to over clock the nb frequency to 1866mz (my RAM speed).
Is it worth overclocking the nb?
SPECS=>
A10 6800K @ 4.4Gz OC (1.325v)
BIOSTAR HI FI A85W
8670D (integrated) 1002mz OC
4gb single channel G.Skill NT 1866mz @ 9-10-11-25 OC (i will loosen the timings a little)
thank you.

5-6 FPS increment will take place!
That's a good cooler you have and will get you good speed !
If you like to overclock too much I suggest upgrading to Liquid Cooling System or if you fear leaking then upgrading to a high end heat sink with fan!

It only worth overclocking when you need it.If you need increase in FPS or higher rendering speed do it! But if not it's no use heating up your parts with no use.
Happy to Help !

ummmm..... this would seem like a dumb question now but how do you overclock the nb?
the nb multiplier setting in amd overdrive is greyed and i cannot find any option to increase nb freq in the bios.
any other way?

I have the 6800k and TX3. I have overclocked the cpu to 4.7ghz, I have overclocked the graphics to 1060mhz, I have overclocked my 1866mhz RAM to 2133mhz, but I have not attempted to overclock the NB yet.

You would get more fps by running dual channel memory. You need a 2nd RAM stick.
