Call of Duty World at War not working

Yesterday I downloaded this game from steam. After I launched it accidentally, I closed the game before it had a chance to install punkbuster. All I want this game for is zombies so i dont think punkbuster is needed.

Now the game itself and multiplayer launch with the small world at war picture and then go into the bottom taskbar. When I click on it, I get a black screen and then it goes back to the taskbar.

The only things that I know is that I don't have punkbuster and I don't know how to install it because the installer isn't acting like World at War is installed. Also, I am running Windows 64 bit and the game in task manager says it is 32 bit.

Please help me

I would suggest you to remove game from steam, clear cache and reinstall the game, during install check in the install options if there is any option to do a selective install. The game is 32 bit program, that doesn't matter

I've reinstalled the game twice now.

Did you check if you had any option for selective install?

How do I do that? and, also COD 4 and MW2 both don't work either and are doing the same thing.

personally I would go on punkbusters official website, download punkbuster, and set up for WaW.
I am at work, so I cannot supply links now:/

I have already tried. I downloaded the installer and it didn't read that I had WaW installed.

check at /steam/common, if the folder of WaW contains a pb.exe and try launch it

There is no pb.exe anywhere in the World at War folder after verifying files.
