Hi there I'm experiencing frame rate and graphic problems with crisis first off the game is genuine and I have updated it with the 1.2 patch and the hotfix 1.21 patch I thought with this being a 2007 game it would run fine for me on high settings damn I was wrong ;-)

My PC specs
Windows 8 professional ( 64 bit )
AMD Phenom 2 955 overclocked to 3.6GHZ
10GB DDR3 ram
GTX 460 768MB
On board HD Audio and 2TB HDD

I have updated my video card drivers via NVidias site and everything seems to be up to date and have installed all the windows updates and still the game seems to lag with nasty frame rate i enabled Vsync and it didn't help much i still get screen tearing and poor performance 1920x1080 is the resolution i wanted on my 24inch monitor but stumped for solutions i know my pc is a little dated now but surely a 2007 game should run better then this with its 2010ish hardware :)

Cheers in advance

Crysis 3 is one of the most graphically demanding games out right now. You just don't have enough CPU and GPU to play it at anywhere near high settings. Reduce some settings until it plays smoothly. Here is one of the best guides for tweaking Crysis 3 to play well:

If you have had a lot of crap installed over the years, you may need to clean up junk files and registry errors too. Run CCleaner and do both the Clean and Registry both. You may have to run it more than once if your system is badly corrupted:

You've got your processor O/C'd enough to make good use of a faster gfx card if you want to go that route.
