I have enjoyed Fiight Simming since early DOS days but have now reached a time in my life when I would like a little help
I run MS FS2004 (FS9) on a desktop PC with XP Pro and a pair of monitors
Is it possible to connect two USB mice or two USB Keyboards and operate them independantly in the same programme ?
If so I would be grateful to know how but please keep it simple as Parkinsons disease and old age have slowed my down somewhat
Thank you in anticipation and
Best regards from Yorkshire England

If you don't need to use both at the same time you can use a KVM switch. There are a number of them that allow you to hook up more than one mouse and keyboard. Standard KVM switches would also work provided you either had gender changers or the appropriate connections on the switch.

saga lout - i have tried two mice and they both imput to the same cursor
but then all the settings are the same for each mouse
i was hoping changing the settings on one may give them independance and me two cursors

I see now. Mine were using the same cursor and I thought that's what you were querying. I can't think my way around that one unless one pilot uses a separate joystick with individual settings. Mouse settings can be varied - you might solve this through experimentation - but I doubt keyboards could oppose in that way.
