Originally I was going to build 2 computers for the children. Then my wife ended up getting an upgrade from her bonus at work. Through it all I ended up with a 2nd GeForce 560 Ti. I figured I'd build me a new system and pass my 2600K down to the kids along with my wife's other computer.

I run 2 monitors currently, although thinking of getting a third but not a priority right now. I game with my wife and family but I also do rendering with Blender, Photoshop and I do encoding and editing with Adobe Premiere. Usually while I'm gaming something else is going on with the other monitor. Typically I could be gaming on my main display and either be VPN'd into work on the other screen or doing editing and rendering.

There was a really good deal on i7-3770K but I was talked with going to the Haswell. Only because I noticed some parts I wanted ended up on par or higher cost because its basically a dead processor. I also wasn't going to get a SSD but then decided for it since I haven't done that plunge yet for the OS and core systems.

I didn't add video cards because I was either going to use the HD 7850 or SLI the 2 560 Ti.

That is pretty good, I can save anywhere from $60-$100 with that. I'll have to give Fry's a call to see if they will price match, they said they are supposed to price match anything online. The catch though they include shipping but since this is a store only pickup, not sure if they will.
