hi i was wondering if i could request some help in finding a decent company built pc under 800 usd. i know, i know, if i build the pc my self i will get a better deal. but i really prefer to go prebuilt as that's what im most comfortable doing.

i will be using this only for music production and am not gamer. i would like something that will run a decent amount of cpu intensive plugins. ram is important but more important is processing power. i have a very sad q9450 with 3 gigs of ram so almost anything would be better. what could you recommend in my price range? thanks for your time and knowledge, i really appreciate it.

http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Zeus_Mini-I_100/ I think would do great even with the i5 though id try and swap that i5 for a 4670 non k and invest in a solid state drive.if you have any questions though feel free to ask.

for 800 without gaming and using integrated graphics you can get a pretty beastly machine.I would suggest building it but as you stated your not comfortable doing that.i would look at a pc with a intel core i7 and 8gb of ram an intel core i5 would also do great.

also, i should mention that i have a 500 gig hd that i have never filled as long as i have owned my pc 'since 2008' i only have cubase7 and reason 7 on here so a big hd isn't a priority as the most hd space ive ever used on my 500 gig hd is 50 gbs. so i can save money by buying/adding a smaller hd and replace that with more processing power and if need be ram.

no problem at all man also I highly highly suggest that if you don't use that much space you get a 128gb solid state drive they are faster than any hard drive out there by a pretty big margin
