Hard drive sofware

Hi all. Im in need of a good HDD software to test my hard drives on my desktop computer. I have 9 sata drives I need to test for errors and health. I need a type of software you can burn to a disk and boot because my desktop does not have an operating system on it and this moment. I need to see want hdds are good before I install the os. I was looking at seatools for dos but it says only Maxtor and Seagate. I have 3 seagates and 6 WD's. I need something that is reliable as well. Thank very much!

Seatools is out of the question now because it doesn't support usb mouse or keyboard. So now im back where I started. Any ideas????????????????????????????

I would recommend MHDD.

Its surface scan identifies "slow" sectors as well as totally bad ones.

You will need to temporarily reconfigure your SATA controller in BIOS for legacy or IDE compatibility mode.

ultimate boot disk. all sort of freeware test programs some just read some read and write test compare and some of the manufactures programs. not sure on ssd compatibility toward repair operations but it would be able to test them for sure. its also a great boot disk to keep on hand. easy to use to find the tool you need
