Why won't my 3570k go past x34 multiplier?

So I followed everything in the 2500k/2600k OC guide,
disable :
Limit CPUID max
Power Technology
C1E support
OverSpeed Protection
Spread Spectrum..

Enable : (already enabled but yeah)
Internal PLL Overboltage
Execute Disable Bit
Intel Virtualization Tech.

Then adjusted the turbo boost ratio to 42, nothing happens. in CPU-Z, it shows as x34, never goes higher.

So I searched, and tried setting Vdroop to +100% and also Enabling "Adjust CPU ratio in OS"

but nothing happens. it's still capped at 34. After I disabled Intel Turbo Boost, it stays at 34 instead of moving between 16 and 34, but it still won't go any higher.

In BIOS, it says it's 4200, so does my computer properties. but CPU-Z disagrees. What's happening?

If memory serves it is the turbo boost clock you increase, you will also see options for how much boost you want to apply to 1, 2 and 4 cores ( 1 core had the highest boost, 2 cores wasn't so high and 4 cores was the lowest), you also need to increase these. I cannot remember being able to increase the base multiplier.

I read what you said, and did NOT touch the boost ratio that is Auto, Enabled some Boost thingy (Not Intel Turbo Boost. the one right under) and left Power Technology in Custom,(under CPU features) and raised each core's limit to 44 and it WORKS!!! thanks.

Everything still reads 3.4Ghz, but CPU-Z and increased fps, and increased flops(burn test) proved that it is overclocked.
