please help unknown problem! do I need to RMA?!?

OK I just got a zotac gtx 770 4gb and when I install drivers when it restarts the screen is black after windows logo. I tried beta drivers with no success. Everything is installed correctly. I think I have to RMA it. Went into safe mode uninstalled drivers clean installed windows. Just can't get it.

UPDATE: I went to a friend's house to see if it was just my rig, same problem. If ANYONE can figure this out I will give them a cookie. I am going to RMA Wednesday if the manufacturer can't help. they are closed on weekends so I can't get any info from them just yet.

Make sure all the connectors to the card are seated securely, but it could be a bad card.

Side note: Why did you get the 4gb? It is only necessary if you plan to SLI. Otherwise you won't see a performance difference over the 2gb for the extra money you spent.

Because I think I am going to eventually go dual monitors. Also modded skyrim takes a lot of V RAM, but mostly for the dual monitor option.

also I don't know if this has anything to do with it but I can see like in safe mode and stuff but I can't after I install the drivers. If I can still see in safe mode doesn't that mean it is installed right? does that mean the card is still good?
