My case has 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front however today I was trying to plug something into both ports and I realized the one on the left does not work however the right works perfectly. Luckily I had two of these cases so I decided I would take off the USB ports on the other case and put it on this one however the same issue. The left USB 3 does not respond. This leads me to believe that there is a problem with the USB 3 on the motherboard
