Getting ready to order parts for my first build. Just wondering if everything looks OK or if there is something you would change. I would like to stay below $1200.

I would add the CM Hyper 212 EVO as your cooler even if you aren't overclocking.

Other than that you can take your remaining budget and go for a 770 or 780 but the build you have is solid.

take off the SSD and get a gtx 770 for that money. you can buy an SSD later. But itll take alot more money to get a better GFX card.
if you can do 1200 then get a 780.
otherwise it looks good to me.

I was thinking about a cooler but I didn't want to over complicate my first build too much, that one pretty easy to install?

Yes it is easy to install on the intel cpu.

The video card suggests a 500W system and the Seasonic 550 is the best psu you could have gotten. That will run your system for years
