Hello, I am thinking of buying an ASUS GeForce GTX650Ti Boost graphics card and I am not sure if my Power Supply is sufficient to handle this sort of graphics card. My computer is a Dell Vostro 270MT with a 310W Dell Power Supply. Is this enough to handle this card? I have checked on a Power Supply Calculator and it said it was just enough (minimum 304W).

Thanks in Advance!!

It should work but I would recommend buying a better PSU at like 500 watts. The PSU is at like 95% capacity and will not be as efficient. Look for one with a power efficiency badge (bronze, gold, silver or platinum).

Though the 650ti does not require alot of power it is suggested to have about 430W. The dell supplies in those builds are notoriously bad when taxxed to the limit.

This XFX550W is a great supply http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb...

The minimum suggest PSU from Nvidia is 430w or 450w I can't remeber which. prebuilt PC's dell, HP, etc usually come with low quality PSU's so it will definitely be pushing it. My opinion would be no, it may work, but the power supply probably won't last long under that load.

No. The most I would put on the PSU is a 7750 or maybe GTX650

Upgrade better safe than sorry

No I would avoid CoolerMaster PSU's.
