Need help choosing PSU for new OC'd/Gaming build

Hi all, building a new PC soon and need some help deciding which PSU to get. Here are the parts I will be using:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VI Hero
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 CL9
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
Storage: Western Digital Red 3TB SATA3 64MB 3.5in Internal HDD
Video Card: eVGA GTX780 3GB
Power Supply: ???
Optical Drive: ASUS DRW-24F1ST 24X SATA DVD Writer Black
Case: Cooler Master HAF X Full Tower Case - Black
Monitor: ASUS VG248QE 24IN Widescreen LED Backlit LCD 1920x1080 1MS

The plan is to overclock the CPU as much as possible with the h100i & even though I only have one GPU right now, I MIGHT get a second one for SLi in the future. So the PSU needs to be able to handle GTX780 SLi. I also might add another 1 or 2 WD Red 3TB drives for storage in the future.

As for budget, I would like to stay under $150, but if someone can give a good reason as to why I should spend $200 on a certain one, I would consider it. Ordering all parts through NCIX & in CDN prices. The brands I were considering were: Corsair, Enermax, Seasonic, Silverstone, XFX. Unfortunately, they don't have any PC Power & Cooling ones on the NCIX website.

The brands I'd go with are Corsair, XFX, Antec, or Seasonic....

Single GPU; 650watts
Dual GPU; 850watts (I'm running 2 dual card system on HX850's no issues...but, you might want more

Corsair TX series for starters but RM, HX, and AX series are preferred.

Yeah, I've done some reading and it would seem a lot are recommending the Corsair AX series. I also think 850W should be enough but some people disagree and say 1000W. If I plan on running GTX780 SLi & overclocking, would that be enough?

I'm running dual Sapphire R9 280X's w/i7-930 OC'd to 3.8Ghz, draws 650--700watts.... The other system is GTX690 w/GTX460 OC'd for PhysX and i7-950 OC'd to 3.6Ghz, draw right about 700watts. Power supplies run cool & system don't crash even after all night gaming sessions...

BUT, If I was doing it over, I'd go for the Corsair RM1000 or AX1200 for a more solid low term built (hey, 7 year warranty means your gonna have the PSU a long, long time....)

Thanks for the input. Nice case btw, that's the same one I plan on getting. Is 1000 really needed do you think? I've narrowed it down to a few different choices:

1. Corsair Professional HX850W - $169.98
2. Corsair AX860 Platinum - $199.89
3. Seasonic X850 Gold - $183.43
4. Corsair RM1000 Silence - $199.99

Unless people can suggest ones that are cheaper and sufficient.

Well, as I point out, I'm running HX850's no worries... BUT if I was starting over, for $30 bucks, no question I'd go for the RM 1000. (when I built these systems I NEVER thought I go so Crazy on GPU's..... :) )

Yeah, I honestly think that eVGA 1000W might be my new choice lol. Same price as an AX860 but I get 150W more, which is nice to have some extra head room. Thanks for all the input!

If I were to just run a single GTX780 or 780Ti and all the rest of the specs were the same, what kind of 750W PSU would you recommend? I'm debating if I would honestly go SLi down the road or not. I will only be gaming on a single 1080p monitor, so 780SLi seems like overkill.

I just had a quick look and at 1920x1200 at Ultra settings with 4xMSAA the 780SLi were averaging 94 FPS, I honestly thought it would be a bit higher. Guess 780SLi really ISN'T that overkill. I think I will stick with the 1000w PSU then and leave myself the option in the future. Better than saving $75 now & then having to replace my PSU later if I decided to go SLi.
