Hello,
I am looking to build my own computer soon, and am looking for some opinions/feedback on the parts I have chosen, and some modifications to my original plan I may want to make.

I am going to be doing some basic gaming (Minecraft, TF2, Portal, etc.) and running CS6, which are the most demanding things I will do at this stage. I'll also be using this for simple things, like programming and listening to music, social media, etc.

My part choices are listed below. I'd like some insight on my choices.

Thanks,
Isaac

what is your maximum budget? also what parts or os do you have lying around to use?

for starters that 32gb ssd is not going to work. considering that some windows 7 installs can be 30gb how could it? such things are designed for boot drives (drives that are completely unuseable for programs and only house just the OS)

also you would want 2x4gb ram not 1x8 and apus benefit from very fast ram (1866, 2133, higher) and scale well with it.

the psu is also pretty junky so isnt really advised.

oh and its possible to buy an a10-5800k on ebay for $95 shipped (i did just the other week)

it will likely work however having such a small drive really isnt suggested. by itself with no updates windows 7 can take 20gb. once you have updates and alot of the other junk you might run into issues eventually where you have zero space on the drive. not to mention the fact that ssd degrade faster when almost full since all the writes are only on certain sectors. i would definitely go larger than 30gb unless you're ready to make certain accomodations.

a crucial 64gb is only $54 and a kingston 120gb is only $69. for the price if its in budget i would get a 120gb you could then put programs on it as well. just a suggestion.
