Hello people, I have been having some issues with my FX-4100. When its idle its about 44 degrees and surfing the web it rises to ~52. I recently just stress tested it through prime 95 and I believe when it hits exactly at 65 degrees celcius, it throttles to 1.4ghz to lower temperature (I think thats how it works). So I was wondering if there was anything wrong here... Sometimes when I play games it goes up to 68 degrees and I don't notice any throttling. Im very confused here as I am all sort of new to this stuff. I do have and aftermarket cooler for my cpu and I have reseated it multiple times with the correct amount of thermal paste. I am just very worried about these temperatures.

Don't give it much thought unless you reach something nearer to 80C. Some can run up to 90C without damage, but I wouldn't risk it. 75 to 79 is relatively safe.
