Hello,

My new gaming pc today arrived. I am so excited!
I installed Windows 8.1 x64 and all the drivers.
I then installed Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag and the game kept crashing 5 minutes into gameplay. The screen would shutdown (blue light turn orange) but I can still hear the music of the game and I can't close it or ctrl+alt+del or anything. All I can do is hard restart.
Same thing happened with Crysis 3.

They're running at "High" graphics.

I don't think my PC can't support these games but I'm worried.
Could it be my Windows 8.1 is corrupted? Would Windows 7 be better?

These are the specs:

Solution
Monitor your GPU temps, if it's overheating it could stop working thus causing the lose of signal in the monitor.

It could also be some driver issues, see if you're with latest video drivers installed.
