Hey TomsHardware folks, I have a bit of a problem. Last year I started getting really into computers so I set up a gaming build. In this build I included a Phenom II x4 960t not realizing how out of date it was getting. Anyway I overclocked the thing to 4GHz and it runs P95 at only 52 degrees (I'm using a Hyper 212 EVO). It runs most of my games really well except for really demanding ones like Max Payne 3 (60 fps when it does work :D). It will crash to the oh so common 0x124 BSOD, I have looked on every* website and tried every solution I could find with no avail, so now I come to you directly asking assistance.

Here are my current settings in my ASUS UEFI BIOS:
Processor: Phenom II X4 960T @approximately 4000 MHz
Ratio: 20
Turbo: Off
Bus Freq.: 200 MHz (fluctuates slightly sometimes)
PCIE: 100 MHz
Mem: 800 MHz (old RAM no h8 plz)
CPU/NB: 2800 MHz
HT link: 2000 MHz
CPU Spread Spectrum: OFF
PCIE " " " ": OFF
EPU: OFF
CPU Load Line Calibration: Extreme
CPU/NB LLC: Extreme
CPU Current Capability: Auto

VOLTAGE SETTINGS:
vCore: 1.4625 (fluctuates to 1.475 approx.)
CPU/NB: 1.450 (auto)
VDDA: 2.520 (auto)
DRAM: 1.498 (auto)
NB: 1.113 (auto)
NB HT: 1.214 (auto)
SB Voltage: 1.1 (auto)

What needs to changed?
Thank you for any input.

The RAM..It's gotta be the RAM.
You could back off a little bit, too..see if 3.9 is stable.
Which Asus Board and Is your CPU unlocked?
Here's a good guide: http://www.overclock.net/t/777378/official-gappos-little-deneb-thuban-overclocking-guide-with-too-many-smileys/0_100

I'd try more RAM voltage..
Some K10 IMC's do not like more CPU/NB voltage..try 1.37 there..
NB voltage 1.26
HT voltage 1.26
also check your RAM timings :)
It also could be your IMC ( CPU/NB ) needs to be lowered..but ..I kinda doubt that. Those Thubans run up to 3200 pretty easy. ( sometimes )

first the language you used is not acceptable
but you need to take all the voltages off auto and go on manual voltage
run prime 95
take all the voltage's max settings down and go to the bios and put it in
your crashes should stop also turn off power now (cool n quiet)

I never thought of disabling q&q, ans i have a few more questions:
what did i say inappropriate to know for the future
and also running all of my stuff at max voltages will decrease my hardware life will it not?
