Hello,
I just built a new PC and upgraded from windows 8.1 32 bit to windows 8.1 64 bit.
Among other problems (itunes not recognizing my iphone, my iphone not recognizing my computer, autodesk rolling back installation on it's 64 bit version, though the last one I solved by installing the 32 bit version) I inexplicably can't get my photos app to recognize any of the photos on my computer.
It did once, then it kept saying it couldn't find where they were located or just didn't say they were there at all.
everything else seems to be installing fine, working fine (adobe CS4 64 bit installed fine), and otherwise I am loving my new build.
I hope someone can shed some light on what might be going on. (I checked my administrator privileges, and am running as the administrator, my graphics card is working, everything is updated, and the only other thing I can think of that could be causing these sorts of problems is registry errors...)
I apologize too, this is my first build and other than what I've learned on this forum (thank you btw, you're very informative!) so far I'm just an artist who does digital work. so forgive me if this seems like a simple fix!
