12 Gb ram for Asus p5g41t-m lx3 motherboard with Intel® Pentium® Processor E5700 is it worth, i currently have 4 Gb of ram and pc stops responding for sometime. So i was thinking to upgrade ram as my motherboard supports 16 gb of ram. I just want to know, will i get a better performance???

well, if you tend to use programs that support high memory, then yes. I have 16GB Ram and I use multiple programs and game and such, and I sometimes get to the max of that. So I see a point in getting 12GB for you as it will help and can have a performance upgrade depending on the use. If you currently have 4GB, then defiantly as 4GB for me and most others isn't enough.

the CPU isn't high end or anything but some programs and things will benefit more off the ram then the CPU.

A SSD would be a really good upgrade for super fast booting and loading times.
