for 1280x800 u need 7750/7770/650ti, in those cards available 7730 is better. gddr5 version is better than ddr3

Well it may be the CPU holding you back too. Watch your CPU and GPU usage
If the GPU is less than 90-100% then it is probably CPU related
If the GPU is less than 90-100% then it is probably CPU related
