I have a Fujitsu w420, with Intel Core i5. I bought a new graphics card, which is an AMD Radeon R7 260x, which takes 200+ watts when playing games, however, the stock PSU in the system is only 150w, so I purchased a Storm Silent 500w PSU. My old PSU's main power connector was only 16pin, whereas the new one is 24pin, but my motherboard only has a 16pin main connector on it. My question is, can I still use the 24pin in the 16pin slot, if I match up each individual pin?

bad idea, very bad idea, the pins are in a different array anyways and trying to fix that just isn't going to work.
