This is the first time I've ever needed to use a forum for an answer. I've spent countless hours googling about this red dot. Everything says "its a stuck pixel" but it looks and acts nothing like the ones I've seen. For the sake of this post I'm referring to the defective area as a dot but keep in mind this isn't a tiny pixel "dot". This thing is about the size of a pea. The red dot only appears on solid black screens. If any other color is in that area it is completely invisible. If that area is black than this dot appears. I've uploaded three pictures with three different zooms. And for the record I've tried all the "stuck pixel" methods on the internet which is another reason I'm thinking it's not a stuck pixel.
