Can Windows 8 Pro 64bit run all the latest games?

Hello to all, i need OS for my new pc, i will use it only for games, but i cant choose between Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and Windows 8 Pro 64bit. Whats your experience, can Win 8 Pro run all the latest games like Crysis 3, CoD Ghosts, Battlefield 4 without problems? I heard that Win 7 is better for Crysis 3, is this true?

Please help me by choosing the right OS, thanks.

I haven't had any issues with my Windows 8 Pro on any of my games. Windows 8 is less resource heavy on the system but probably not enought o make a noticeable difference. I'd put it up to whether you can accept the new GUI.

Having not moved to Windows 8 myself I don't know if it supports all of the latest games, but I would imagine Microsoft would have ironed out all the bugs so the games would play. I certainly know of a couple of people who reverted back to Windows 7 in the early days because Windows 8 wouldn't play their games. The bigger question here is, is your computer powerful enough to play those games? If your computer isn't powerful enough it doesn't matter what Operating System you run as you won't be able to play your games anyway.

Yes its enough powerful to run all games in FullHD on max details.
