Hi, i recently bought a 2gb evga gtx760 with acx cooling gpu. I have also bought a new 550w psu and when i installed them both i find that i am getting power but no display, i have the 6 and 8 pin connectors in too and the fans were turning. I tried my old gpu and it works fine. Is this a problem with my new gpu?

Have you uninstalled the old display drivers and installing the new ones? It sounds like you haven't which is most likely the reason

A graphics card has a low resolution mode which should display without the need of a driver at all.

Your symptoms do should like a lack of power, or a defective card. Double check that your graphics card psu connectors are fully inserted and secure.

A 550w psu with a native 8 pin and 6 pin pcie power connectors should have the requisite amps(30a) for your graphics card. Do you have to use a molex to 8 pin adapter?
If your psu is a cheap unit, it may not be delivering all that is required.
Exactly what psu do you have?

Can you test the card on another pc, or with a stronger psu?
